Driving outside the designated routes is prohibited in order to preserve the natural environment and ensure everyone’s safety.

The reservation confirmation received by email must be printed and placed visibly on the dashboard of the vehicle parked on the site at all times. This confirmation allows authorized vehicles to be quickly identified and helps with campsite management.

Campers acknowledge that cellular coverage may be limited or unavailable in certain areas. It is recommended that access instructions, the reservation confirmation, and any useful information be downloaded or printed before arriving on site.

Campers must remain within authorized areas and respect the boundaries of their campsite. Access to other lands, private roads, buildings, equipment, forest lots, or non-designated areas is prohibited unless prior authorization has been granted by Lalièvre Nature.

Campers must respect barriers, chains, signs, sector boundaries, and private access indications. Campers must bring their own supply of drinking water for the entire duration of their stay.

Campers must use only the sanitary facilities provided for this purpose, when available. Where no sanitary facilities are available, campers must provide their own autonomous, hygienic, and environmentally responsible solution.

Leaving toilet paper, sanitary waste, or any other material in the natural environment is prohibited.

3. Authorized Persons and Visitors

Only individuals listed on the reservation are authorized to be present on the camping site.

Visitors who are not listed on the reservation are prohibited unless prior authorization has been granted by Lalièvre Nature. Any person present on the site must be declared on the reservation and must comply with these rules.

The maximum number of people allowed per campsite is the number indicated at the time of reservation or in the site description. Any excess occupancy must be authorized in advance by Lalièvre Nature.

4. Any early arrival, late departure, or occupancy outside these periods must be authorized in advance.

5. Traffic and Parking

Each campsite allows parking for one vehicle, unless otherwise indicated.

Vehicles must travel only on identified roads and be parked in the designated areas. Unauthorized driving in the forest, on non-designated trails, or outside the designated roads is prohibited.

Campers acknowledge that access roads may be gravel, dirt, narrow, uneven, or affected by weather conditions. Each camper is responsible for ensuring that their vehicle is suitable for the access conditions of the reserved site.

Roads, entrances, barriers, traffic lanes, and emergency access routes must remain clear at all times. No vehicle, trailer, equipment, or installation may block a road or interfere with access by emergency services.

6. Authorized Equipment

The equipment permitted on each campsite is the equipment indicated in the site description at the time of reservation.

Trailers, recreational vehicles, tent trailers, utility trailers, temporary shelters, or other similar equipment may be prohibited or subject to prior authorization depending on the site.

Lalièvre Nature reserves the right to refuse any equipment deemed non-compliant, dangerous, unsuitable for the site, or likely to harm the natural environment or the tranquility of the area.

7. Quiet Hours and Peaceful Enjoyment

To preserve the peaceful nature of the site, quiet hours are in effect between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.

During this period, campers must keep noise to a minimum and respect the peace and quiet of other occupants. Pet waste must be placed in the garbage bins provided for this purpose or taken back with the camper’s waste.

9. Cleanliness and Waste

Each camper is responsible for keeping their campsite clean.

No waste may be left on site, in the forest, near the water, or in the natural environment. The site must be left in the same condition as upon arrival.

Waste must be taken back by campers or deposited only in the designated areas, when available. Failure to comply with this rule may result in fees or a fine.

10. Campfires

Campfires are permitted only in areas designated for this purpose.

Campers must bring their own firewood. Collecting wood in the forest is prohibited in order to preserve the natural environment.

Campers must comply at all times with fire bans issued by the municipality, SOPFEU, or any other competent authority.

It is strictly prohibited to burn anything other than natural wood, including:

plastic;

clothing;

waste;

treated, painted, or stained wood;

toxic, explosive, or hazardous materials;

any other material that could harm the environment or safety.

Every fire must remain under constant supervision and must be completely extinguished before going to sleep or leaving the site.

Before lighting a fire, campers must check the applicable instructions, restrictions in effect, and any fire ban communicated by Lalièvre Nature, the municipality, SOPFEU, or any other competent authority.

11. Activities, Water, and Safety

As the sites are located in a natural environment and may be near water, campers acknowledge that certain activities involve a level of risk.

Children must be accompanied and supervised at all times, especially near waterways, the lake, shorelines, or uneven natural areas.

Wearing a personal flotation device is mandatory for minors when they are near the water or in a watercraft.

Swimming is strictly prohibited in areas with strong currents or any apparent safety risk.

Watercraft must be used responsibly. Access to the lake or river must be made only from your campsite, when the site allows it, unless a boat launch is made available to campers. If applicable, it will be indicated on the site plan.

12. Weapons, Hunting, and Prohibited Activities

Firearms, air guns, bows, crossbows, or any similar equipment are prohibited on the camping sites unless prior written authorization has been granted by Lalièvre Nature.

Hunting, trapping, target shooting, or any similar activity is prohibited in the camping areas unless a specific written agreement has been made with Lalièvre Nature.

Any dangerous or illegal behaviour, or any behaviour likely to endanger the safety of campers, employees, other users, or the natural environment, is strictly prohibited.

The use of drones is prohibited unless prior authorization has been granted by Lalièvre Nature, in order to preserve the peace, safety, and privacy of campers.

13. Natural Conditions and Weather

Campers acknowledge that the sites are located in a natural environment and that conditions may vary depending on the weather, road conditions, insects, water levels, vegetation, branches, mud, or other natural factors.

These conditions are part of the rustic camping experience and do not automatically entitle campers to a refund.

Lalièvre Nature reserves the right to restrict access, temporarily close an area, suspend occupancy of a campsite, or request the evacuation of a site when weather conditions, fire risk, road conditions, fallen trees, an obstruction, urgent work, or any other safety-related situation justifies it.

14. General Safety Instructions

Campers must exercise caution, respect, and courtesy at all times.

Good neighbourly conduct is essential to ensure an enjoyable stay for everyone. Any breakage, displacement, damage, or misuse may result in expulsion from the site, a claim for damages, or a report to the competent authorities.

Campers are required to promptly report to Lalièvre Nature any dangerous situation, injury, medical issue, fire outbreak, suspicious smoke, unauthorized presence, damage, vandalism, theft, risky behaviour, or unusual situation observed on the site.

17. Non-Compliance with the Rules

In the event of non-compliance with these rules, Lalièvre Nature reserves the right to terminate the stay, require immediate departure from the premises, and, where applicable, charge fees for damages, cleaning, or any required intervention.

No refund will be granted in the event of expulsion due to non-compliance with the rules.

18. Site Surveillance

In order to protect people, property, installations, and equipment, Lalièvre Nature may use surveillance and control measures, including occasional visits, field inspections, signage, barriers, or cameras installed at certain strategic locations.

When present, cameras are aimed primarily at access points, roads, parking areas, common equipment, or sensitive areas.
