PRICING IN EFFECT FOR THE YEAR 2022

250 acres or less:  $10.00/acre

251 acres or more: $8.50/acre

451 acres to 600 acres:  $7.50/acre

601 acres or more:  $6.50/acre

The company manages its private forests with a holistic approach in accordance with the principles of sustainable management, in order to ensure the sustainability and improvement of the forest resource.  In doing so, each property becomes ideal for the practice of outdoor activities.

Certain species such as moose, white-tailed deer, ruffed grouse, hare, and black bear offer an interesting potential for harvesting or observation and contribute strongly to the local economy of certain communities. As for the flora, we find the usual flora of the Canadian forest and notably three vulnerable species that have been inventoried: the discoid bident, the wild garlic, and the Clinton’s dryopter. There are also several habitats of particular interest such as heronries, muskrat habitats, wetlands that shelter a vast biodiversity and deer and moose yards. In addition, forestry operations that have taken place on some of the lands over the past few decades provide trails for occupants to travel.

HIGHLIGHTS OF A LEASE AGREEMENT:

  • The Landlord agrees to lease the immovable for outdoor sports activities and, in particular, hunting for small and big game animals. He will respect all laws and regulations applicable to Quebec
  • The Tenant will have the exclusivity of the immovable during the term of the lease to practice the agreed uses
  • The lease will be for a 60 months period and any party may terminate it at any time
  • The Tenant acknowledges that he takes the immovable as is, without any obligation of the Landlord to provide any services whatsoever
  • The Tenant undertakes to obtain the necessary permits and licenses from the concerned authorities for the execution of any works and to respect the applicable laws and regulations.
  • The Tenant must inform the Landlord of his intentions
  • The Tenant must keep and maintain the leased immovable, use it as a good family man and ensure that no waste, garbage, household waste, contaminant or pollutants of any kind whatsoever is left or abandoned on it
  • The Tenant will not engage in any commercial activity in or on the immovable
  • The Tenant may not at any time cut or harvest a tree without first obtaining the written authorization of the Landlord who may refuse the request without reason or justification
  • The Tenant agrees to manage beavers on the immovable
  • The Tenant undertakes to insure against the losses resulting from the damage to his property and to any other property caused by the lease of the immovable
  • The Tenant will have to subscribe and maintain for the duration of the lease, an all risks and general liability insurance policy of at least two million dollars ($ 2,000,000)
